FUN STUFF & CALENDAR
There is beauty in every season, but the fun really ramps up from Memorial Day to Labor Day, with a variety of PTA-sponsored social activities.

Although our gatherings may change from year to year, there’s something for everyone. Here’s a sampling of possible events. Whether you come for the friendly rivalry of our all-ages corn hole tournament or choose to stomp your feet to the beat of the tunes performed at Music in the Barnyard, you’ll find good food and warm fellowship at all our events.
Traditionally, we kick off the season on Memorial Day weekend with a lively deck party. Our Annual Meeting of the Membership in June focuses on updating everyone on the board’s work, discussing key issues and electing new Board Members. It also provides an opportunity to get to meet new neighbors and unwind after the meeting with a beverage and snack.
Foodies may appreciate the potluck dinner on the lawn overlooking John’s Bay at sunset, and film buffs can settle back for an outdoor movie night complete with popcorn and s’mores.
For the avid readers among us, the Even Keel Book Club meets every other month year round.
These and other yet-to-be-planned gatherings are organized by the PTA Social Committee. They are a great way to catch up with old friends and connect with new ones, and are one of the highlights of the PTA (if we do say so).
WE ALSO HAVE SOME GREAT MERCH! Our Pemaquid Trail ball caps have been wildly popular and can be seen perched proudly atop many heads. Mugs were a big winner as well, and we’re eager to hear YOUR ideas about additional items!
